Introduction

These conditions govern the registration and participation in the XXVII Spanish Astronomy Congress (CEA 2026), organised by the Sabadell Astronomical Society, C/ Prat de la Riba, s/n (Parc Catalunya) – 08206 Sabadell (Barcelona). Acceptance of these conditions is mandatory in order to complete the registration.

Registration process

The user must complete the registration form available on the website, enter their personal and payment details, accept these conditions and complete the payment. Once confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email that must be presented to access the Congress and, if applicable, the official dinner.

Amendments

The AAS may amend these conditions at any time; changes will not affect registrations already completed unless expressly accepted by the attendee.

Features and capacity

Registration includes access to the lectures and events of the official programme. If the maximum capacity is reached, a free waiting list will be set up. The Congress dinner will be separate, with limited places, and managed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment

Payment is made in advance and securely by bank card, through the 4Tickets platform or an equivalent one. The sending of invoices in electronic format is authorised.

Cancellations and withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal, as the purchase is made entirely in digital format and is considered executed upon completion of payment. Non-attendance does not entitle a refund. The organisation may cancel the event if the minimum number of registrants is not reached; in that case, all amounts paid will be refunded.

Liability

The AAS is not responsible for incorrect use of the registration system, nor for technical failures, interruptions or incidents arising from causes beyond its control or force majeure.

Validity

If any clause is found to be null or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall retain full validity.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These are governed by Spanish legislation. The parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Sabadell (Barcelona).
